Services & Fees
Initial Evaluation
An initial evaluation is necessary for all new patients. Dr. Corgan will conduct a thorough evaluation of your overall mental health, physical health and wellness. A second session may be needed to complete a thorough initial evaluation. Medication is not typically prescribed at this first visit and usually requires a follow up appointment before medication is started.
Adults - one 50-60 min session | $350
Children & Adolescents - two 50-60 min sessions* | $650
*For Children & Adolescents an initial evaluation requires two 50-60 min sessions. First session is typically with the parents only. Second session is with the child, with parents joining at the end. Findings of evaluation may be discussed at the end of second session or in a separate appointment with the parents.
Follow Up Appointments
Psychotherapy
Dr. Corgan practices psychodynamic psychotherapy. She also has training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and other modalities. Based on your initial evaluation she will determine what type of therapy will be most helpful for you. Therapy session are typically once a week, but can be more frequent if needed. If Dr. Corgan determines medication would be helpful for you in addition to therapy, management of your medication will be incorporated into your therapy sessions.
45 - 50 mins | $295
Medication Management
Based on your initial evaluation Dr. Corgan will determine if medication would be helpful for you. If this is the case Dr. Corgan will prescribe medication and monitor your progress and adjust your medications as needed. Frequency of follow up appointments is on a case-by-case basis.
15 - 20 mins. | $175
Dr. Corgan offers some reduced fee appointments based on need. Please email or call to inquire about reduced fee appointments.
Dr. Corgan does not accept insurance.*
Dr. Corgan is “out of network.” If you have out of network benefits on your health insurance you may submit a claim to your insurance company and they may reimburse a portion of your payment or count it towards your out of network deductible. Dr. Corgan can provide you with a “super bill” after your appointments that you can submit to your insurance company. You may also submit a super bill to your employer to have visits qualify for FSA.
Dr. Corgan’s office will not submit any claims to insurance for you.
*Except for Philadelphia Police Officers and their families through Law Enforcement Health Benefits. If this applies to you please note this in your initial message to Dr. Corgan.
